UX Project Management

Feedback: Before each presentation, I would look over my team’s slides and scripts and give feedback about how they were communicating their process. During their presentation, I would take notes over where the audience felt confused and where they could improve. I posted most of the feedback in a Slack channel so that the entire team could see it.

Meeting Notes: I attended all of my teams’ meetings with sponsors, professors, and (as a special case) the collaborative team in China. I took notes over important information and then met with my teams to plan next steps.

Mentoring/Leadership Recommendations: I conducted 1 on 1 meetings with each of the members of my teams and took notes over their progress towards their goals. Here is the summary I made of members’ strengths, areas of growth, and action plans to reach those goals.

Feedback (Ownership): As Project Owner, I “owned” my teams’ documentation. I was in charge of making sure they were staying on top of updates. I also regularly went through their documents and left comments giving feedback prior to feedback from professors.
